Donald Joseph Qualls - better known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the United States. After becoming famous through his performances on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature films like The Core. As well as appearing in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, The Lost Law & Order along with several other. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14, and has battled this disease since. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. But, initial treatment was very detrimental on his health, and slowed growth. Because he was a child of the poverty of his home, he longed to achieve financial stability. After living so modestly for a long time, I must have the financial safety. Otherwise the world seems to be beyond my control. He also reminisces about his childhood to motivate him. Cruelty breaks my heart he says. The best DJ role is that of a real father. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. It's great to someday be an adult, and he will be able spend less time on career and spend more time with his son.
